The Lord's Hand

What happened when I accepted the challenge to document the evidence of the Lord's involvement in my life?

Elder Henry B. Eyring, in his October 2007 Conference talk "O, Remember, Remember," challenged us to record in our journals whenever we saw the hand of God blessing us and our families.

I obeyed a prompting to start recording those daily blessings two weeks ago, and read back over the entries this morning. Now gratitude fills my heart almost to bursting!

Ways He has blessed my family this month include:

*An opportunity to partner with a dear friend on an inspired project

*A full-ride scholarship plus living stipend for my college-bound child;

*The chance to have an artistic play date with a new friend;

*New ideas about display adaptations for my vendor market booth;

*A tax refund that not only pays our expensive homeowner's policy but also provides extra funds for art supplies;

*Found a buried email from a friend I'd thought wasn't responding, &

*Got to chat with a sweet work friend and share uplifting scriptures!

Sometimes during difficult times, we may ponder the limits of the Lord's love, and wonder about His willingness to help His children, but I'm learning His love has no limits. He is always willing to help, in His own time and in His own way.

Today's challenge--start your own blessings journal, and see how the Lord is blessing you and your family!

That’s today’s reason to smile! :)
