Don’t let fear stop you from changing the world

In 1837 Florence Nightingale was called by God to serve, but she let fear stop her. She was afraid of what her family and her friends would think, especially her family, because nursing was not an acceptable profession for an English gentlewoman.

However, by 1844, she’d learned through personal challenges and trials to listen to the Spirit, and when the Lord called her again, this time Florence answered.

She never let fear stop her from doing anything the Lord asked her to do, ever again.

We all received a crash course on the futility of fear in 2020. If the Lord is calling you, don’t hesitate. Don’t be afraid. Act. Florence changed the world and you can too. That’s today’s reason to smile!
